Do you use this for leads instead of a spotlight?
I guess you need to kill the stage lighting for this to be noticed. |

I just installed it last night, haven't played a gig with it yet. I will probably just pick a color and stay with it; no seizure-causing strobe! And yes, this won't work unless its a nighttime gig. _________________ TerryGannAOneManBand

OK guys: Unintended consequences-
A few years ago I got some electroluminescent lighting, like what's used for under car neon, and built some electronics to do a color organ (Blue,Yellow,Red), and I plugged it into the tuner output of my pedal. The low notes were blue, mid yellow and Hugheyland would light up red.
I hung it under the guitar, and it worked great.
I took it out only once because lots of people commented that they really enjoyed my "crotch lighting". _________________ Franklin D10 8&5, Excel D10 8&5, homemade buffer/overdrive, Moyo pedal, GT-001 effects, 2x BAM200 for stereo. 2x GW8003 8" driver in homemade closed-box. Ha! I didn't think about that! I guess I'd better choose my pants carefully! Maybe I'll just run it when the band is on break! _________________ TerryGannAOneManBand

These 12v strips are for sale on eBay for just a dollar or two. They are different colours, non flashing and flood the area underneath the guitar with light. I bought a blue light strip. They are self adhesive and can be powered by any rechargeable 12v dc power pack. Just mount a spst on-off switch and away you go.
