What is your tuning on that one? kind of a India sound,that I like or maybe it was the gin bottle.

Everything you use on those strings imparts a different sound so its always worth experimenting. Does sound a bit Indian but I thinks that's more to how its being played.

I remember many years ago I arrived at a gig only find I had left my bag with picks and bars behind. I asked the barman for an empty schweppes bottle which worked quite well and got me out of a muddle. That and fingernails got through the gig although one or two looked astonished when they saw what I was using.

It is E minor tuning (like G minor, but on the baritone Weissenborn): B-E-B-E-G-B, low to high.

Yes, drinking the gin first is essential. Wink

It is good to know that most round objects can work as emergency tone bars.
