Looking for a little piece of metal that keeps the pedal rod attached to the pedal assembly like late 50s sho-bud. Also need the pin that goes witb it.

Find out what threads and go to an Auto parts house.
These are called tie rod ends and Dorman makes them in various sizes. |

Actually it appears that the tie rod end isn't the right part-- basically just looking for the curved metal piece that flips up and "pins" to the pedal.
