Greetings! I just uploaded 10 free tutorial videos for my book, THE FRETBOARD, VOL. 1 - SCALES, MODES, AND ARPEGGIOS. You can view the videos at my website link below

Even if you don't get the book, you can still learn a considerable amount from these videos. The material I cover is music theory and fretboard mapping on a level you'd learn if you were majoring in guitar at a university. I spent about 8 months editing these videos and create 443 graphics to make them a bit more effective for learning.

I hope you enjoy them!

Very well produced David. I assume the ideas in the book are applicable to steel guitar as well, regardless of tuning, and not just guitar?

The music theory certainly would be. If you watch the videos, you'll be able to determine if the books contents would be helpful for you.

Thanks!

On my website I've added time stamps for each video, both to show the contents of each video and to allow you to jump directly to a particular topic.

Part 1 is the series introduction.
Parts 2 - 6 are mostly theory
Parts 7 - 10 cover playing the material on the guitar.

Hope that helps!

A Kindle version of this theory/fretboard mapping book is now available on Amazon. If you are a member of Kindle Unlimited, you can download it for free.

Also, remember I have 10 free tutorial Youtube videos for this book available for viewing on my website. Total viewing time of all 10 videos is 2 hours, 21 minutes. Even if you don't get the book, you can learn a lot from just watching the videos.
