I'm posting these pictures for Tommy. I think I've seen an English Electronics logo on one of these consoles before which was made by the same company (Valco) that made the National consoles. Biggest difference is the molded bridge/pickup cover unique to this model. I'll bet someone more knowledgeable will speak up. Noah?

I had the identical "English Electronics" guitar. Sold it to buy a Stringmaster and sometimes wish I had the old girl back. Nice, thick sound that you'd expect from Supro-National-Valco guitars out of Chicago. Looks as though the tuner buttons are beginning to crumble, but they are NOT difficult to replace with new Stew-Mac buttons. |
