Steve Gunder, SDF bars in Topeka, is still going, as well.
He offers many different materials _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

What is "standard"?
I have seen SO many sizes mentioned it seems there is no standard nowadays. And by "standard" so you mean just size - or a specific material. A lot of variations there as well, from the cheapest "bright chrome" steel bars to all sorts of alternatives. _________________ No chops, but great tone

I really like Michael Hillman's powder coated bars, sold here on the forum. Warm to the touch, easier for pulloffs and hammer-ons. _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

My 1" bar is a Nu-Generation bar. I love it. My only gripe is, that after only a few months, there are spots where the finish has dulled. Still works great though. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, NV400, NV112 . Playing for 54 years and still counting. |
