To each his own. As the father of two children who are half jewish, he'll always be the anti-semitic hypocrite he always was. You know a man, not by what he says in public, but by what he says when he thinks no one is listening. Here is Billy Graham talking to Nixon about his opinion of jews:

"''They're the ones putting out the pornographic stuff,'' Graham said to Nixon - "the Jewish stranglehold has got to be broken or the country's going down the drain,'' he continued.

Graham also confided in Nixon that he hid his true feelings about Jews from them: ''I go and I keep friends with Mr. Rosenthal (then executive editor) at The New York Times and people of that sort, you know. And all -- I mean, not all the Jews, but a lot of the Jews are great friends of mine, they swarm around me and are friendly to me because they know that I'm friendly with Israel. But they don't know how I really feel about what they are doing to this country. And I have no power, no way to handle them, but I would stand up if under proper circumstances.''

If I’m not mistaken, Rev. Graham made a public repentance of his sin. It’s all that we can ask. He who is without sin...cast the first stone. Rev. Graham did a lot of charitable work in his lifetime that continues on.

the "reverend" Graham denied he said it until confronted by the actual tapes. As I said: you judge a man not by what he says publically, but by what he says when he thinks no one is listening.

This section of the forum is for "Obituaries and remembrances of steel guitarists, their friends and families". As far as I know, Billy Graham was neither friend nor family of anyone here.
