| A while back some one from the Atlanta area had the705 bill Lawrence pickups that had the black wire coming from the end of the pickup, cannot find them anymore. Anyone have any info on them?....thanks jack |

Sounds like a description of the hard-to-find original "chrome" L-705 (which also came in black). They are sought-after, but I've never read anything about the reissue not sounding as good.
I put a reissue 705 in my GFI and I like it a lot. But I had to drill a new hole for the cable because the pickup cavity was so shallow there was no room to route the cable sideways under the pickup to the original hole. |

| Bruce, that is why I am looking for the one,s with the black wire, it comes out of the pickup on th end....they were on eBay for a long time at around 70.00....thanks jack |
