Thinking a of trying the Paul Franklin PF 350 speaker With my Steelaire amp. Has anybody tried one or have an opinion? Currently using a 15 inch Telonics.

I know about the 23# weight of the speaker. If I can deal with a 65# steel, I can hand!e the weight. If the speaker will live up to it's hype, it will be worth it.

Telonics is a fine sounding speaker. Do you like it?
I own both. Have listened to Pauls' description of the PF-350? I believe it to be spot on. Slicing it pretty thin to say which is better but they are different and I like them both and routinely use both on stage. Is it gonna be a huge revelation... no but nice difference between the two. My opinion.

George, I hear you. I do like my Telonics just fine. I am going to build another speaker cabinet for the Franklin. I have always liked a 12" speaker. I would like to have another speaker as a backup. I am curious how running the two together would sound. I have listened to Paul's demo and it is impressive, although there are a lot of variables in Paul's gear and mine.In spite of this, I am glad that you think
the demo is spot on.

I have the steelaire head and 2 open back cabs..I just purchased a pf350 for one. It's a dream match! I've never had a sound like this before. You just have to try it for yourself. I plan on buying another.

You’re getting close…if you like it that’s all that matters
But there is more down the rabbit hole…

Quentin, I checked out your video sound sample and it sounds great. I have those same Crate cabinets.I put a TT 12 in one. Still debating on the other. I have a few to try that are still new. The TT sounds awesome with my Derby SD10 3x5 and an old Line 6 rack mount Pod Pro XT pushing a Carvin power amp, Goodrich VP and Sarno Black Box take the signal to the Preamp.

Hey Larry.

Yes those cabs compliment 12 inch speakers very good! I also have a tt12 that I've had for a few years now which is also a good sounding speaker as well as an eminence nv112 speaker.

I am still breaking the pf350, I'm playing alot of C6 to give the coil a good workout.

Derby is a nice steel for sure, and I also own a line 6 pod pro rack version. I love some of the tones I get from that preamp.
