Topic: Fender 800 type pickups |

Does anybody make reproductions of Fender 800 or even Stringmaster pick ups for 10 string pedal steel? I think I asked Jerry Sentell about it and he said he doesn’t do it. I’m just out there looking for 2 to put in my GFI Ultra short scale to get some variety of sounds and more of a Fender bite.

Jason Lollar used to have 10 string Stringmaster pickups on his website...his website changed and I don't see them on there, only the 8 string replica's, but maybe he's still tooled up for the 10 strings.

Hi Kevin
I have an Emmons with a pickup tapped at 10K . When it is in the tapped mode the sound becomes much more Fendery. It really makes a huge difference , less mids and a lot more clarity....Jerry |
