Short of being a "doudting Thomas" I removed all ten fingers from the top neck of my S-P. Upon close examination of the bottom "B" finger(10th string) I discovered a small indent in the finger. The indent slanting upward (@ 22.5 degree slant) is the culprit causing a slight bump or rough point in the pedal action.
In addition, the string had wore a groove in the fluted hanger.
Looking at the "Coop" finger I see a "wire peg" that fits snug through the "eye of the string", this should eliminate "string friction" assuming the peg moves with the finger action. The "Coop" roller (as long as it rolls) will eliminate friction and should make for smoothe pedal action.
What I found was enough to convince me the "Coop fingers" will be something I can count on to make for a positive improvement in pedal action...."My check's in the mail"!

ps - I wonder what John does with the old fingers?
