I was fortunate enough last night to go see the Hot Club of Cowtown in Bartlesville, Ok. It was at a Frank Lloyd Wright concert hall and of course the acoustics were great. I really enjoy their music a lot...western swing, jazz...just a great group. Whit Smith on guitar is a great one, and Elana James is equally great on fiddle and vocals. The bass player is amazing...he is from Tulsa ! If you get a chance go see them when they are playing near you...no steel player, but they sure put out a lot of music for 3 people !!
