Question for steel instructors...

Lately I've had a bunch of people approaching me for PSG lessons. A few years ago it seemed like most people who called me were wanting non-pedal/lap steel lessons (which I don't teach), but now it seems to have shifted toward PSG.

Is it just me, or are any of you other teachers out there experiencing the same thing? Just curious...

Jim, although I don't have more than a few students now and then, I do feel there is an increased interest. It's hard to gauge if it's a phenomenon or whatever, but it's good !.

The real good news is that the couple of recent students that came my way are serious musicians and they "get it" right out of the gate. That makes it really fun to work with them.

Another thing thing I am seeing lately is that I am being contacted a bit more for E-Sessions . I find that to be excellent. Artists or writers wanting to add some Steel on a project, someone is listening ! Very Happy
