Here is another one I have adapted for C6 no pedals but plenty of bar twisting. This is played on a National D8 I have recently renovated. However, the pickup is very microphonic. What I need is a pickup guru who can advise me on whether the bridge attached to the pickup plate will cause microphonics regardless of coil condition, or will a wax pot cure my problem.
Answers on a 10 dollar bill will help very much. _________________ ShoBud 6139, Remington Steelmaster D8, National D8 Console x 2, George Boards Lap Steel, National New Yorker. |

Real nice Mick,
If you had not said a thing I'd have thought it was E9th.
Whatever the tuning you got it down well.
Like all your posted sound clips.
I always liked the way those Nationals look, but have not been able to find one in decent shape for a good price.
Sorry but know nothing about those pickups.
Best wishes,
