1968 was the year Buddy Emmons moved to LA. I consider that move as an important step in promoting the psg as an all-round instrument in all kinds of music. I have a lot of favorites from that period, but these clips are one of the first from 1968 and features the Big E’s fresh tone we came to associate with this period.
The list is long, so bring in your favorite song (or album) from that period, that way I might even discover an unknown gem from that period.

Liked the instrumental "Sundown" Bas.
Jim Pulte with a Jesse "Ed" Davis produced record, that featured Buddy on a few cuts.
