I just came up with an interesting fiddle edge, although it is subject to many modifications over the years.

Lee, If you are talking about the part I think you are talking about I was in need of one of these a few years ago for a refurb and was able to find one used on eBay for surprisingly cheap. May wanna check there if you havenâ€™t already. Good luck!
