sorry $74.99 I was a penny off. A piece of plastic and a wing screw LOL seeing is believing.

I have a Quikstix identical to the one pictured. It's metal, not plastic, and plenty robust. I get it about steel guitar accessories not being cheap, but how many units can Quikstix sell? It's not as if the number of steel players were equal to the population of Red China

I put my bar under my left butt cheek when I'm not holding it.

True story.

Clark,
That's the kind that I use.

A steeler from Germany sent me mine.
He was pretty active for a while and then got in trouble over some business dealings.

Sierra Steels offers a "pick pocket". Way more than $75, but it includes a free 10 or 12 string pedal steel!

Before that I thought he was a pretty nice guy. Sad

My BMI came with a pick and bar holder included. Works great. Fits and matches the guitar nicely too. Very Happy I also like those pick and bar holders made of a Nutella snack pack container with a clip attached.

I play a D10 and it has a very similar holder to yours!

Take note this high tech bar and picks holder, carefully installed on a Williams 600 series. It looks suspiciously like a custom cut piece of leftover industrial carpet from a school renovation...
