Sorry to report that Julian Tharpe's son Greg passed away Dec 23rd in his sleep. I met Greg in St Louis when Julian was inducted to the HOF and we stayed in touch ever since. He didn't play steel but played guitar and loved music. He was as funny and as kind as they get.
