I recently purchased a Peavey PX 300 powered speaker and am using it with my Line 6 preamp/processor. I am confused as to what cable do I use to connect them. They sit approx 12' apart. Do I use a speaker cable or an instrument cable? I understand there can be damage by using the wrong one. Any help? |

Instrument cable. You are actually running from a preamp to a power amp that is built into the speaker cabinet.
Indeed, running from a power amp to speaker, you definitely want a speaker cable. But in your case here, instrument cable is the answer. |

Use one of your George L's cables or I can send you a new one. hehe _________________ AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. My current rig of choice is 1993 Emmons LeGrande w/ 108 pups (Jack Strayhorn built for me), Goodrich OMNI Volume Pedal, George L's cables, Goodrich Baby Bloomer and Peavey Nashville 112. Can't get much sweeter. |
