Two related questions:

I'm putting a new pedal board together and always have a Black Box at the front end of my boards. The BB, of course, uses an AC plug.

1. Anyone know of any power supplies besides the Pedal Power 2+ that have a built-in AC outlet?

2. Several folks make IEC Y-cables that add an AC outlet to a power cable. Thoughts on whether having an AC powered pedal NOT run through the power brick - or using that kind of y-cable in itself - would risk adding noise to the sound?
