I just bought a new black box. I have a Nashville 400 with the Peavey Mod. Any help on where most steelers set the Vari Z knob? |

Most run it close to dimed. I find it sounds a bit richer backed off a little. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

Me too
After talking with Brad Sarno a couple of years ago, I replaced the original Chinese 12ax7 tube with a NOS RCA 7025 and it actually made a tonal difference in a very positive way! _________________ Best regards,
