Just discovered this video a couple of weeks ago. What's the name of the first song on the YouTube Video? I learned it from the video but don't know the title! _________________ 2016 Williams D12 8 x 8, 2015 Williams D12 8 x 8, 2023 Williams S12 4 x 5, Milkman Amps, 1974 Gibson Byrdland |

I don't know of one with Hughey, but if you mean the 2002 video that Emmons did Hal Rugg, that would be Freddie the Freeloader...Miles Davis tune. |

My mistake. The You Tube video is: Buddy Emmons and Hal Rugg Live @ Bell Cove(2002). The first tune is not Freddie the Freeloader. I know the Emmons website says the first tune is Freddie the Freeloader but it's not. That's a 12 bar blues. This song is not. _________________ 2016 Williams D12 8 x 8, 2015 Williams D12 8 x 8, 2023 Williams S12 4 x 5, Milkman Amps, 1974 Gibson Byrdland |

Oh yeah, sorry. That's one of Hal's signature tunes Relaxin'. How soon I forgot.
I dunno who wrote it or anything else about it though. |

I have the video of Emmons and Rugg at the Bell Cove. The first song is Freddie The Freeloader. Relaxing is played as well but later in the video. Every steel player needs this DVD in their collection. Hal Ruggs daughter Tammy Klinefelter has them from what I remember and you can go to the Facebook page dedicated to Hal Rugg and get info as well. |

I think Steve is referring to the first song that plays in the link that Stefan posted per Brint's reply. The next song following that one is Take Me as I Am, so this video clip apparently skips the first few songs and begins play at Relaxin'. |
