On behalf of myself, Kyle Bennett at MSA, and my friend Jody Cameron, id like to invite anyone in shouting distance to join us at the Phoenix Show...MSAs new Legend Guitars are turning heads, and ears all over the world. We want everyone to have the chance to compare our guitar, to the competition!....We will have no less than 3 available to play, including both of my Legend XLs..I will have numerous pickups for comparison, and I am hoping to have 3 new pickups from Telonics ready for the show as well..We look forward to seeing you, sharing ideas, and playing music..!!

Mickey, what are the odds that you might put up some Extended E9 lesson videos when you get it? They seem to be scarce-to-none on YouTube. Thanks!

MSA turned my head. After 12 years of playing a Williams,I recently stopped by Mitchell Smithey's home and checked out his S10 through my Quilter Steelaire.

I was soo impressed I ordered an XL Signature Series SD10 5x4 w/XR16 pups with the Tobacco burst finish as shown on the attached picture.

All I can say is you owe it to yourself to take a look at these guitars.I think they have an Alien chained up in the back room who pumps out all these great features and innovations that are out of this world.

Here's a shot of the finish I chose.

Dern Dick that is a beautiful steel, guess cops are making more $$$$ (Lol) than I did when I retired a year and a half ago. I'm so jealous and I bet you will make that girl smoke.

Congrats

Thanks Don, I’m excited about the new guitar very much. The 6 month wait will probably kill me though.

MSA's were always a great guitars, but drastically undervalued in recent years for whatever reason... I remember a cool experiment few years ago where someone posted the song where he played several different guitars through the song, among which were '66 Emmons, and white MSA Classic... the best tone by far everyone guessed was a '66 Emmons was actually that white old MSA Classic ... and many were very surprised , as was I as well ... I never had a chance to play a new MSA, but I did had a several old MSA's, and they were all high quality, nice sounding, and great playing guitars... little on the heavier side, but none the less, great professional instruments...

Mickey, thank you again for all your great help tweaking my guitar before my set. Much appreciated and it played much better after that tune-up! Good to hang with you, too, brother, and to hear your two excellent sets. Hope you had a good trip back home.

A big thank you to the folks at MSA, Mickey, Jody & Mark Giles. They were all busy but made themselves available for any questions. Mark Giles especially taking time to share about the finishes on these beautiful MSA guitars. His work is excellent!

Is there, or will there be, a mica version of the Legend? I hate to damage a lacquer guitar.

Mickey, I wanted to thank you again for setting up my Ray Walker custom SD10 at the show. And thanks for talking to the buyer. As soon as shipping cost and any fees in to Canada are known, my steel will get to travel to a fine new steel player in Canada. Thanks a lot. CAA. Enjoyed talking to you at the show. Best time I've had in many years ! Laughing
