Peavey power amp broke down again, it’s only used in my home and I have not had much luck with this thing, it was brand new when I bought it six years ago,
it’s a PV XR 8600D, Needs repair again, does anyone have a good technician that works on PV’s, thanks in advance

I would send the power amp to the Peavey Service Center in Meridian, Mississippi. Check their website for the address.

Another vote for sending it to Peavey. They are reasonable and quick. And who better to work on them than the folks who made them.

I'm not even convinced that authorized repair stations can fix everything. I had a Session 500 that broke down 4 times under warranty. I kept taking it back to the store I bought it from, an authorized repair station. They would get it running, but it kept breaking down. The last time. I took it in, they gave me a new Nashville 400 in it's place. That was in 1984,and the NV400 has never even hiccup'd.

I would go With sending it back to Peavey. I had a power flux lock my Tube-Flex up on a gig one night. Sent it out and got it back before my next gig came up.
Mike Brown at 1-877-732-8391 Was the man to talk to at the time, When I had the trouble. That has been a few years ago though. He was great to work with on this problem. Good Luck
