Topic: Any upcoming events in Central Kentucky? |

Hi All,
I'm new to the pedal steel community, and I'd love to attend a steel guitar show to see some performers and talk with some vendors and other musicians. Is there anything like that planned in or near Lexington/Cincinnati/Louisville/Ashland?
I searched with Google and found some info about (long) past events, but those weren't helpful in turning up current plans.

hey Stephen and Daniel. I am located in eastern ky not too far from Butcher hollow. The main ky events that are steel going are the Louisville shows... sadly the central ky steel show hasn't been going in 3 or 4 years now... I wish there were more around here. Im 21 and Im playing the april show in Louisville. It's fairly easy to find down there (not actually in Louisville metro area)... if I can help you guys any way just let me know!

I've not kept up with any events in the area...
What about a jam, or meetup? With enough interest, I could maybe-probably arrange a (restaurant) venue near Lexington, and possibly assemble a house band.
What do you think?
