Andrew, I live in Champaign IL. which is a little more than 2 hours from you. There is a great Steel Guitar show the weekend after Easter in Mount Vernon IL. Its about 90 miles from you. It would be worth it to go if you can make it. Its mainly a pedal steel show but there are non pedal players there too. Here is a website with some info about it.
