I'll be showing the new Sierra Steels at the upcoming Phoenix show. While there I'm on the hunt for a nice 3-4/3-5 E9 S10 to bring home for a pal who wants to take up pedal steel.

If you've got something he should consider please let me know. His budget for his first Steel is around $1500, so it counts the ones I build out by a bit.

Thanks in advance!

Ask your friend if he would be interested in the modern steel sound of a custom SD10. Sadly I must sell one if my steels. Check out listing I bought it from, under Ray Walker custom 4/5 steel Jan 6th, or so 2007.
I currently have it listed under "A steal of a Steel, Ray Walker custom 4/5. I will be at the Jan 2018 show,

Thanks Art, He's more interested in an S10 than a SD. If you have it with you in Phoenix, I'd like to check it out. Looks like a cool rig.

I'll be easy to find at the Sierra display.

O.K. Ross, if it has't sold, I was already planning to have it with me. I think I have arranged for Del Mullen to play it and evaluate it at the show. It has the modern sound, and Ray loved Mullens. So it most likely sounds like one with Mullen pickup and pedal pulls. I am staying at the Best Western on Gilbert Rd, north of Hwy 60. about a mile and a half from the Hilton and except for taking it fro Del to play, it will be in my room at BW. See U in Jan. CAA
