The tone pot on my Stringmaster is not working. I’d like to have the parts ready before I open it up. Does anyone know what value of pot/cap combination
will give the maximum “Boo-Wah” effect?

i can't really say for a Fender Lap, but I got a very good Boo Wah sound on one of my Teles by using the Gatton trick, a 1 meg tone pot.
