If you ever have the need to remove contact cement get "Goof Off" super glue and epoxy remover it works great. Just put it on, wait a couple of minutes and take the soft cement off. Sometimes it requires more than one application.

I've always used MEK to remove contact cement very successfully. It will kill finishes though. RP
