Wow, RCA transistors! They have been out of that business for a long time.

A quick check on Google does not produce anything but there may be an NTE equivalent (or not).

Maybe Mike Brown at Peavey can help.

Best Regards,
Sam

I also suggest contacting Mike Brown and/or Peavey service.

There is a Peavey transistor cross-reference list here - http://matthieu.benoit.free.fr/cross/competitive/Peavey_Transistor_Cross.pdf
Code:

ORIGINAL           62188
IN-HOUSE
NUMBER

ALTERNATE          84140
IN-HOUSE
NUMBER

FIELD              2N3773
REPLACEMENT
NUMBER

ORDER              70484140
NUMBER

NOTES              NPN 140V OUTPUT

There's also this older SGF thread on the Session 400 power transistors: http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=213280

Even with all this info, I still suggest corresponding with Mike Brown.

The 2N3773 is the replacement transistor and is available here:
