I think these are called shoulder washers? Maybe a flanged sleeve bearing?

I want to buy a box of these for mounting cross shafts into small pieces of drilled out angle iron. In conjunction with a shaft collar, these will provide a non binding fit and hold everything in place. Any idea where to buy these - having trouble locating a source.

plastic shoulder bushing, what plastic? could be nylon. Should be able to find them on line fairly easy. Someone will probably chime in here and give you the exact info you need.

I would try McMaster Carr. They carry all kinds of shoulder bushings. Just google for the web info.

The ones I referred to are kind of pricey I see. Another alternative and maybe easier to find are bronze or oilite flange bearings.

If you have a Grainger store, take it in and show it to the old guy with callused hands.
Grainger sells them, but they call them some kind of washer.
