I have ser 979L D10 8&8 with the extra 9th lever.
and extra Rods.What is the value and year that it
was made.I might have to post it for sale.
Teal green.Polished ,lubed and cleaned..
3 raise two lower.Split allens on all 10 stgs.

That serial number puts it in the very early 90s . I’m guessing about 92 from looking over old posts about Emmons serial numbers. It is a very good time period for LeGrandes. To me those guitars are some of the best steels ever built. The market has been pretty soft lately though. Clearer pictures that show the undercarriage would help.

My Black D10 L-II is S/N 1358 and that dates mid 90's . Mine is 8+5 and I feel the value is in the $3300 to maybe up to $3500 range. With the additional C6th levers you may be starting closer to $3500 maybe even a tad higher.

I recently pulled the entire Steel apart, changer included , for cleaning, polishing. It's ready to go another 25 years, maybe that adds value, who can say.
