I'm new to steel guitar and -extremely- new to pedal steel guitar...I'm playing an 8 string soon to be six pedal Fender 400 that is set up for basilh's A7 copedent and just starting to get my head around it. But I had fun tinkering with this yesterday, and I got a pretty easy arrangement worked out for the classic piano arpeggios from Chicago's Colour My World.
(Quick reference, I'm only needing the 1,2 and 5 pedals from the copedent...base tuning is A7, GAC#EGAC#E. P1 sharps the Gs a half step, P2 sharps the As a whole step, and P5 flats the C#s a half step...various combinations of those will give 6th, 7th, 9th, maj 7 chords)
