Very cool... Jim's a hero around these parts.
Plus, he can still give you a mean flea-dipping. Maybe even spay or neuter you...

Interesting - I didn't realize that Jim took over Goodrich Volume Pedals. I'm sure it was posted here at some point but I missed it.

Glad to see Jim getting some good press!

(But doesn't it seem like the article ended kind of abruptly? I was looking for page 2...) Confused

Super nice man Jim is. When I first decided I wanted to get into the Pedal Steel, I just Googled PSG repair, and his name came up. I asked him a few questions about an old Zane Beck I'd found on eBay and he steered me clear of it. I guess you could say that his advice is the reason I went with ordering a new MSA. He answered every one of my dumb questions as if I'd known him for a while - very nice guy.

Jim is the one I'd use for any repair or add-ons like knee levers or pedals. He is a great guy and a very knowledgeable teacher, not to mention the great store full of interesting collectable instruments. I just wished I lived closer to Oceanside!

Thanks so much for the kind words- the article was more or less accurate. While Pete Anderson is a Goodrich aficionado and customer and Nils Lofgren is a customer as well, neither has been to the shop~and they neglected to include one of my best friends in the world and graces the shop frequently- JayDee Maness.

Jim is definitely one of the "Good Guys" within our community. Congratulations, Jim, for finally getting a bit of public recognition for taking that "leap of Faith" and for your endeavors. Very well deserved, my friend!
