You can play a lot of the C6 tab directly on E9th just by transposing the string pockets. You would just be missing the lower C6 strings.
A few ideas and note pockets are shown here in the link below. I didn't focus too much on single string riffs because you can take just about any C6 tab or riff and play it in one of these E9th note pockets:
