This is a NcSTAR 36" Black Military OPS Hunting Tactical Rifle Gun Carrying Bag. I paid $24.49 on eBay.

Is there a good amount of padding? Hard to tell from the picture. I paid $29.95 for one from a guitar place and there was little padding in it. How long is the Lap Steel you have pictured?

Plenty of padding, Bill. About an inch of high-density foam on each side. More heavily constructed than your run-of-the-mill guitar gig-bag, as it's designed to carry a fairly formidable weapon.

The refurbished 1947 Gibson BR-6 is about 32" long.

I use a hunting bow bag to carry 6 mic stands and 4 booms! And only paid $12!

Good tip. I've been carrying my EH-185 in a very tough well-padded assault rifle 'gig bag' for several years now. Can't remember the brand off hand, but I think I paid around $40 for it. Excellent value.
