Why doesn't California have a Steel Show or at least a Jam? There has to be plenty of players in the Southern Ca. area. I know that Mike did for a while and I attended a few of them. Thanks

Billy, there have been two California Jams AFAIK. Both were in Vista north of San Diego. They were listed in the SWSGA web page under Events. Check there for future jams:

I went to the last one and it was a blast. Looking forward to another one in Spring '18.

Boys, more and more steel players from California are getting involved in the SWSGA every year.
One BIG show in January each year plus a Fall jam and a Spring jam as well.
Then, the folks in charge go to southern California twice a year to a big RV park, not sure where but its called Shula Vista.
Its very well attended each jam, I've not been able to attend one.
So, come one come all steel guitar players from California, love to have you.
