Just recently got interested in Hawaiian slack key guitar and I see several choices of dvds, books for learning the style. Anyone have a recommendation for me ? I have played thumb style guitar for years so it looks like it would be an easy style for me to pick up, but would like to get some input from any of you.
Thanks in advance.

I have been working through Ozzie Kotani's material. He has a beginning book/CD and a follow up instructional dvd. I think it's logically laid out, with each piece building technique and repertoire. What I especially appreciate is how each phrase is broken down with fingering explained. This eliminates guess work and develops proper technique from the beginning.
