Milo plays it on E9. Once I saw him do it I tackled it myself and all the positions I saw him use worked a treat.
He plays it in E whereas Buddy's original (on C6th) is in D. Both tuning require open strings for that signature sound with the pull-offs. _________________ Roger Rettig - Emmons D10s, Quilter TT-12, B-bender Teles and old Martins.

I played a Randy Travis fund raiser last night Randy and his wife on stage with us all night, Randy did a little singing too..Great night...As I l@@k to my left, theres Milo!!.. playing fiddle, & mandolin..with us, needless to say I was a bit nervous!!!!. We had a Great time...!! We were in Gainesville Tx...

watching guys like milo can be frustrating and make you want to quit...
never getting even close is hard...
but then i think, as long as i go on i`m getting a little better at least |
