I need to sell this great sounding Emmons guitar as I hate too but need the cash. It's an 80's model, 6537 serial number. This is one of the best sounding Emmons I've ever owned and really hate to sell but need the cash more than I need the guitar. It's 8&4, Day setup with the split on 6th string. I'm not going to change this guitar over to Emmons as I have bad neck trouble and really bothers it to be looking down working on something so you Day players, here's a chance for a great sounding and playing Emmons for a very good price.

Guitar is very clean and in great shape. One of the legs has a little rust I think due from someone putting a tuner or something and sliding up and down leg which wore chrome off. Not really noticeable unless you want to get really picky. No noticeable dings or anything on guitar. Standard Day setup with E's on left leg. RKR lowers 2 half and whole tone and 9th. Has really good half stop. RKL raises 1st and lowers 6 half or whole tone. C6th is standard.
Will take $2800 plus shipping, firm price. I have about 3300 or more in guitar. Please PM me for more info or if you interested, Thanks

I have a black one just like it, Serial 6635 which is an 83 model and after a some work,it turned out to be a great little guitar... tone and action. I love the LeGrande feel which these 80 models guitars give you.

Yes, I like the Legrand pedal bar feel and also makes the guitar quite a bit lighter. This is a great sounding and playing guitar. I wish I didn't need to sell.

Henry: Sorry you have to sell this one, and I wish I could buy it. As you probably already know, I myself play the Day set-up, and I have had to change over every steel I have bought. I'm crazy about push/pull Emmons, but I should be selling some, not buying one more. Good luck with your sale. That's a nice steel at a great price. Tommy.....

Hi Henry,
Bet that don't take long to sell!
I don't ever remember seeing a LaGrand D-10 in that condition for a price like that.

Hope your neck is not something serious? And that you get better real soon.
Best wishes for a good recovery,
Andy Smile
