I have a steel I leave set up all the time at church. I've had issues with small kids standing on my pedal board. I was thinking of a cover that would go all the way to the floor. I'm thinking, out of sight, out of mind. Does anyone know of someone who makes a cover like this? I talked to assistant pastor about announcing for everyone to keep the kids off the stage, but I figured just in case one did get on stage, I'd try something like the cover. I have a GFI ultra sd-10. |

personally, I would save the cost of having a big heavy full length custom cover made, and use the cover you have, and just cover the entire steel, cover and all, with a quilt or heavy blanket of some sort... thats what i have always done.. In 41 years of owning steel guitars, never had a problem with a blanket or sheet over it.. People pass right by... bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!

Ray..You might check Lowes or Home Depot for grill covers. Noticed a few on the Lowes site whose dimensions may serve the purpose. |

If I was determined to leave my guitar at the church, and experienced the issues you've described, I'd ask the pastor if I could leave it (just the guitar) in his office. _________________ Clinesmith consoles D-8/6 5 pedal, D-8 3 pedal & A25 Frypan, Pettingill Teardrop, & P8 Deluxe. |
