Pretty new Vox AC15 C1 Good as new Vox Custom Amp, only used for demos. Beautiful tube amp with incredible sound. $525 + shipping PPG

2 channels. 15W into 16 ohms. 12" Celestion G12M Greenback. Normal input, Top Boost input.
Classic tremolo effect. Spring reverb. Terrific Coveramp (Canada) amp cover.

To my ears the Celestion green back sounds better than the Blue Alnico speakers in the Vox AC amps.
I have two AC30s: one with blues the other with green backs. Maybe I have a Ceramic preference though, but they sound good in a lot of amps and this is one of them. Listen to Laura Cox's cover of Brad Paisley's "Nervous Breakdown" on YouTube for a taste. What a gifted young player.
regards,
Lefty

Well, I have Greenbacks in my Matchless Lightning 15 2x10 and in this Vox AC15 and they all sound great. I have a '59 Vox Celestion 15w silver AlNiCo in my '64 Deluxe Reverb and a Scumnico 30w AlNiCo in my '65 Princeton Reverb. They sound amazing too.

I am toying with the idea of putting a Jensen P10R in with one of the Greenbacks in the Matchless and seeing how that sounds.

Well the guy I bought my second AC30 from (the new hand wired version with Blue Alnicos) was not really a player and I don't think the speakers are broken in yet. I hope that is the case.

They are most definitely not broken in yet in my Matchless or the AC15... can't stop playing my Fender amps long enough...
