not sure I understand the question,
in front of the Telonics pickups are
just pieces of black paper, which for
me helped to visualize the strings better.
I know it becomes a matter of feel over
time, but when I was first starting to
play, it was helpful.

Holy cow! This is a rare guitar for sale and IMHO the best money can buy. If I didn't already have one I would have already bought this. I have owned Franklin, Mullen, Emmons, JCH, etc. The Infinity is miles ahead of any of those guitars. Nothing to think about here..

Well better is really subjective. For me at least every guitar I have owned always seemed to have some sort of issue either big or small. Anything from mechanical design to the tone or intermittent things. Even the almighty Franklin had tuning and cabinet drop issues for me. Maybe it was that particular guitar but Paul Sr and I never was able to resolve it.
Moving on, I am very blessed to own the great and fairly rare infinity D10. These guitars are so precise it's really unreal. The tone of an infinity is the closest thing I have heard to a P/P from any all pull guitar I've owned or played. Just a complete work of art to me.
As far as Frank building more? I am told he no longer is building as you can imagine the kinda of labor it must take to build this monster. I was lucky to have ordered before he stopped building. If you find one don't hesitate, buy it... Mickey knows this and immediately bought this guitar (smart man)
All this is just one guys opinion and is certainly subjective to each guys views

| Hey Mike, thanks for the detailed reply, I know Mickey is a Mullen G2 guy and Herb Steiner(sp) is an Emmons guy and they both have high praise for the Infinity Steel..too bad Frank is not making any more of them. Do you have any idea how many were produced?..and again, thanks for your reply. |

By the way, Mickey and I have twin blue Infinity steels! I will 2nd the motion about being the best guitars I've every played as well. I've had Emmons, Zumms, Rains, Mullens, Rittenberrys, and a Justice. All of these are good guitars, but the infinity does STAY in tune, it works every time all of the time, doesn't break strings ( I play a lot), has a great tone, and mechanically never has a problem for me. Oh, and did I mention it plays like butter on the pedals, soft & sweet! If this wasn't a lacquer guitar, I'd be after it!!!

Absolutely agree Larry, best guitar I have ever owned or played and I have had many over the years. I sold my Franklin last year and never looked back once. Frank Carter is the ultimate PSG craftsman
