The recording session was in August of 2004.
The vocalist is my father - Nick DeMaio. I produced the CD and recorded that small portion of video to document the day. Somehow I left the video unprotected on my site for a few days and someone was able to download a copy - and now over 12,000 views. Wow.
We recorded two CD's with Buddy on Steel and one with Lloyd Green.
All the session were magical.
The studio on the video was Oak Valley Studio in Nashville.
Spicher, Robbins, Wade, Chrisman, and Marrs on bass.
Very special day.

Does anyone recall the year that he appeared on the 'Prairie Home Companion' New Years Eve show on PBS as a member of the backing band? Do remember that he was playing his black Zum 'Hybrid'.

That would have had to have been 2006.
