This is the link to a thread started by Doug Beaumier on the non pedal section but thought you guys may be interested in the pictures of the Guya pedal steel. Came up for sale some time ago, not sure of it's fate.

My dad had one in the late 70's before he got his Sho Bud!

"Beautiful sounding guitar. It was a real shame the pedals couldn't be tuned properly. It also had no kneelevers which was also a shame."

He sold it to a guy at a music store, who wanted to play steel, to contribute towards his Sho Bud purchase. Its never been seen since. My guess is that it is lying undiscovered in an attic.

Very rare collectors item indeed.

I don't know, b0b. It's not my guitar, I was just posting pictures of it.

I hope some of these Guyas are found!

My dad would love to be reunited with his! (His will probably be knocking about in England).

Here's him kicking of Your Cheating Heart with one.

Does anyone have anymore info on them? My dad reckons they were Japanese but that is all he knows.
