| I have probably one of the early Zum S-10 10 string Push=Pull guitars. It has no I.D. numbers. If someone has a rodding charts to share, it, would be helpful. Thank You |

That's what they call pull-release.
The old student models.

Chris, if it's Kansas City, it's after he started doing the all-pull. He started in Centralia, Missouri. I bet $3.00 this is the early student model

my 82 came from raytown.
you know more than i do, lane. that's a really nice looking steel. makes me want to be a student again, i guess.
i wish bruce had a pictorial on the history of zums.
the first one i saw was 70's..a little heavier build in the bellcrank area. then i went to see joe goldmark's which was really neat (at the townhouse in emeryville, ca.)
then i saw all the earlier randy beavers zums.
i bought mine largely due to the ads in steel guitarist mag. best decision i ever made.
price at the time was a big consideration.
so for $2400 i got this, a case and volume pedal..
then coming full circle i ended up back at the townhouse backing up rose maddox for a crazy weekend! |

| This also has long allen head tuning rods and not the current nylon. Thank's guys. The conflict is tuning the f# on string 4 with the C pedal. When in turn it does not let you use the eb lever. |

The C pedal needs some slack on the 4th string
