My first Push-pull was a D-10 in that exact same finish.

Hello Gary;
Very beautiful guitar there!
I would have to say contact Mike Cass.
I would think if he don't know that he can find out.

I used to own #007, which was a green lacquer D-10. I think that the reissues were made with left over n.o.s. bodies.
Maybe we could start a registry. I'm guessing that there aren't more than a couple dozen of them.
Doug Palmer would probably know, he built the one I had.

Thanks guy's for your input. Does anyone have a contact for
Mike Cass? I think the suggestion to start a registry for these guitars is a great idea, because these are awesome guitars. I have have owned 2 other original Emmons a D10 and
SD10 and this guitar has the same tone quality as my previous emmons. It plays great and stays in tune.

He is also a forum member and owner of www.steelguitareast.com, as well as the nicest guy you will ever encounter!

I presume these are the reissued push pull Emmons I've heard/read about? They are drop dead gorgeous in the lacquer finish.

Best,
Chris

Gary, I believe I built that Guitar. If it is the one I think it is, the body was an old one built by Tom Lashley. Bruce Troupe made the metal parts and I assembled it. All of those reissue guitars had incredible tone.

Thats great Mike.If you could email me a pic of you and your guitar. I want to start a photo album of the Guy's
who own the reisue's and pic's of them and their guitars, names and contacts. And put them numerically by guitar serial # in a package that I could send to each of them. That way everyone would have an idea of just how many that
was actually produced weather it be a S10,SD10 or D10.

I have #001 of the S-10 reissues, Gary. It was originally owned by Lynn Stafford and then Steve Price. I think Doug Palmer built it out of 1970's NOS parts in 2004 (and did an awesome job on it!). It's sort of a blue/green lacquer finish.
