| Great talent the The Bros Landreth and the Duesenbreg Fairytale Lap Steels are really fine instruments as well. They seem to get a bit of a cold or mixed welcome here on the forum. |

Thanks I really enjoyed that and will check out more of there stuff via Youtube.
The Dusenberg guitars are really interesting, I am put off by the levers on the lap steel but I should try and get over that, the round neck electric is great sounding it would be interesting to see what everything is plugged into.
A friend of mine works on guitars for Robbie Mcintosh who plays with John Mayer etc, they also have those Dusenbergs, this just reinforced what I thought when I first heard them.
But due to there price a leap of faith instrument as they are in the same ballpark as Gibsons etc.
Thanks again, I will post something up this side of the pond to spread the word/Gospel (well it is Easter!!!)

BOTH the black strats have a "gold foil" pickup in the neck position, a la Ry's "Coodercaster." Whether it's a "real" one from a demolished Harmony or a resurrection from Lollar or GFS I don't know. I couldn't see the bridge pickups clearly, they keep waving their hands around in my way. dammit - kids today.

| The guy playing standard had what looked like Lollar Supro and Gold Foils (looked too nice to be vintage) and the slide guy had a Teisco/Lollar foil in the front and Harmony-style at the bridge. Good stuff! |
