Kicked off Once A Day yesterday. Great song with a ton of licks. Will revisited scale positions along the neck and its makes a lot a difference when you understand what your playing and just not following tab. Thanks Will

This was a great lesson, as someone pretty new, all the scales and demonstration of playing a song was most helpful.

Yeah Doug, I've been with William for about three years now and I've learned so much. It is a real journey, lots of practice and learning but well worth the effort. It helps so much to have an excellent player show you how it should be done.

Want be long before Will wraps up with Crying. Parnell and Don votes for Lost in the Feeling. I will have to go along with that choice, Will does a fine job on this song but he does it all the songs he records. For you folks that would like to learn how to play a pedal steel guitar remember one thing, they are players and they are teachers. Will happens to be both a rare breed. Give him a try he will make a difference in your playing.

Four Great Tech Exercises this week, each designed to back up a singer or lead instrument. Well worth the price of admission!

Looks like this will be the next project song (Farewell Party) starting Jan 25, 2020. Take a minute to listen this soundcloud. If you are looking for help to get started or expand on your playing you might want to give William a try. At least you can here him play what he teaches and that goes a long way because a teacher can only teach what they know.
10 years doing this weekly broadcast and many that started are still with him.

Thanks to all that has commented on Fare Well Party. It's set to get started this saturday 25th Jan. This was done years ago but we have a lot of new people join since this was done. Plus us old ones probably need to revisit this oldie for good measures.

Joey is right, William's rendition of Farewell Party is full of the kind of licks that you just want to learn when you hear them. The great part is instead of wearing out your cassette tape trying to learn the lick you have a tab, a track, and his wonderful instruction. Don't miss out on this one!

Another great hour on Farewell Party last saturday, if you miss it you certainly missed out on some good licks and advice on how to play. For the few that really wants to learn to play you might want to consider $20 bucks for four weeks. That will be the best money you ever spent on steel guitar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
