I'm a new 12 string owner and have been asking about tunings...Tommy White from the Opry said Reece Anderson's had it all covered Smile Does anyone out there have it 'printable' on the internet? Thanx

Dan:

Go to "links" at the top of the forum web page, then to "tunings". Page down to the universal tunings section and select Maurice Anderson. There are two tunings listed, a Bb6 universal and an E9 universal.

Dan, welcome to the immense world of the Uni. I took it up within the past year myself. In addition to Reece's tunings I can recommend at least 5 other Universal copedent guru's you should check out. Larry Bell, Jeff Newman, Carl Dixon, Scotty Henderson and Dave Van Allen. I think they all have web sites with their copedents. I'll try to find the links and edit them in here.

Dan S....Thank you for your interest in my tunings. About a year ago I made a change on my Bb6th which is not shown on my forum setup chart.

I now tune my 1st string to "C" and I bring it back up to the "D" on my RKL.

With this open tuning change made, my 6th pedal does not now raise the 1st string 1/2, nor does my 7th pedal raise the 1st string 1 tone. All other pedals and knee levers are correct as shown.

If you have any other questions I will be glad to try to answer them for you!

Dan, I had Larry Bell's URL wrong. I have edited the previous post to correct it. Also be sure to check the Forum tuning list. There are several universal tunings there. Plus, it is always wise to see what top dawgs like Buddy Emmons, Paul Franklin, and Tommy White are doing with their E9 and C6 tunings. If any of that strikes your fancy you might be able to work in into a universal setup.
